Allalin:
The Allalinhorn (4,027 m) is a mountain in the Mischabelhörner group of the Pennine Alps in Switzerland. It lies between Zermatt and Saas-Fee in the canton of Valais.
The building of the Metro Alpin funicular to the Mittelallalin (3456 m) just below the North-East face has turned the mountain into one of the easiest and popular 4000-metre peaks of the Alps.

Accessing the Metro Alpin is from the ski resort of Saas Fee, the route will take you from the village at 1800m to the Mittelallalin, where there is the worlds highest revolving restaurant, allowing you to enjoy local food and take in the breathtaking views.
Brienzer Rothorn:
A ride on the Brienz Rothorn steam railway in the heart of the Bernese Oberland is bound to be an unforgettable experience. And an adventure too! For the line leads through fragrant forests and dark tunnels as well as lush alpine meadows, commanding spectacular views of the mountains all around
Dream of steam in the Bernese Oberland! Several Swiss mountains are called Rothorn but there is only one near Brienz, on the beautiful Lake Brienz in the Bernese Oberland. And only here, 15 km from the world-famous resort of Interlaken, is its ascent as romantic and impressive, thanks to the Brienz Rothorn Railway, the oldest steam cog railway in Switzerland. It has climbed Rothorn Kulm hissing, huffing and puffing since 1892.
Cardada:
The cable-car from Orselina takes you up to Cardada (1340m) in just a few
minutes, where you can access the chair lift right up to Cimetta at 1670m. This
little oasis of peace and nature offers an unforgettable 360° panorama over Lake
Maggiore and the surrounding valleys.
More active visitors can try the foot-massaging walkway, an orienteering route, the circular mountain-bike track or one of the official Helsana nordic walking trails.

Families with kids are guaranteed a good time in the Indian village, in the play areas or whilst strolling around the shaded play path. In the five restaurants and huts on the mountain, you can find lots of tasty traditional dishes from Ticino.
Cortvatsh:
The Corvatsch mountain lies at 3,451 m (11,322 ft) in the Bernina Range, overlooking Lake Silvaplana in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is the highest point on the range separating the main Engadin valley from the Val Roseg.
At the top of the Engadin, it is the highest mountain top station in the Easter Alps.
Niesen:
The 2,362 high Niesen Mountain at Lake Thun is striking because
it is nearly perfectly shaped like a pyramid. The steep slopes are not climbed
on foot, but are traversed by cable car. The world's longest staircase was built
to parallel the course of the cable car, so that maintenance work can be carried
out on the cable car when needed.
Niesen Mountain has earned an entry into the Guinness Book of Records thanks to
its staircase - which has 11,674 steps. However, one does not have to climb the
world's longest staircase to enjoy the view from the mountain (which is a
destination for excursions) or to enjoy a stay in the mountain house
Niesen-Kulm. The staircase was only built to enable maintenance work on the
nostalgic cable car and is only opened once a year for the Niesen Staircase
Race, a climbing marathon that has been taking place since 1990. By the way, the
fastest climber so far only took 1 hour to climb the staircase!
Rochers-de-Naye:
As if the trip by rack railway up the Rochers-de-Naye weren't experience enough in itself, you'll be amazed by the view of Lake Geneva and alpine peaks that meets you at the top. No wonder marmots like it up here too.
The "Marmot Paradise" high up above Montreux offers a total of seven nature parks plus a study centre where you can find out all about these endearing animals and their close relatives in Asia, Europe and North America.
Säntis:
The Säntis is the landmark of the Lake Constance region. The mountain, which
can be seen from miles away, is also well-known for extreme weather conditions
that otherwise only occur in the High Alps. A first weather station was built
here in 1882, and has been manned by a weatherman ever since.
One can
comfortably get to the Panorama Restaurant at the top of the mountain with the
aerial cable car Schwägalp–Säntis, one of the most used mountain trains in
Switzerland. On foggy winter days, winter hiking trails and snow shoe hiking
beckon visitors to the mountain sun on the Schwägalp. In the summer the Säntis
is a popular destination for hikes and mountain tours in the Alpstein region. A
360-degree view of six Alpine countries is always guaranteed.
Stanserhorn:
The special mountain experience starts as soon as you join the nostalgic railway in Stans. This old-timer railway and new open air cable car take you up to the Rondorama revolving restaurant, 1900m above sea level, where you can enjoy the wonderful view over 100kms of the Alps and 10 Swiss lakes.
Get to know more about the geology and flora of the Stanserhorn with a walk around the peak or on one of the well laid out hiking trails
