A busy March in Nendaz!

Still looking to book your last minute Swiss skiing holiday? Look no further than the week of the 7th to the 14th of March in the Nendaz ski area. The 220kms of pistes become host to both the International Ski Federation (FIS) World Cup qualifier for the men's, women's and team Snowboard Cross event and the annual Freeride World Qualifier in Nendaz.

FIS Snowboard Cross (SBX)

Involving big table-top jumps, wu-tangs, step-ups, step-downs, rollers and banked turns, the course provides a varied race for some of the world's top riders.
The event takes place between the 13th and 15th of March, and with the Veysonnaz course (easily accessible with the Printze ski pass from Nendaz) considered one of the best in the world, it could be your perfect opportunity to watch Olympic athletes, world champion snowboarders and national teams compete in the only competitive tour of it's kind. Combine that with some excellent skiing conditions for yourself and the Nendaz Freeride event, you're in for an exciting, action packed week in one of Switzerland's top resorts.

Nendaz Freeride World Qualifier

Few people are ever lucky enough to witness such an intense, thrilling and frankly, dangerous event as a Freeride competition. From the 12th to the 17th of March, the world's best freeriders (both ski and snowboard) compete in the challenge that Mont-Gond has to offer. With great views of the event from the Plan-du-Fou restaurant and down in Nendaz village, you're sure to see the spectacular, jaw dropping and near sheer descents of those competing for first place and the World Qualifying points.

So for a week fit for thrill seekers, extreme sport fans and skiers of all ability, visit Nendaz. With the 4 Vallées ski pass, you will have over 410kms of pistes to explore at your leisure, guaranteeing you a varied day, every day. Throw in a couple of world class competitions in the same week for you to view and a lively, family friendly resort, you could have one of the best weeks in the snow available in the Alps.

Halfway between Chamonix and Zermatt, Nendaz is situated only 15kms from the main motorway, rail and air network towards all European capitals
